Physiotherapists 

Kim Bull (Owner)

MSc (Sports Medicine), Grad Dip Physio

Kim has over 25 years physiotherapy experience in Australia and the United Kingdom.  She has a postgraduate degree in Sports Medicine and extensive experience in sport, spinal and orthopaedic rehabilitation.  She has a special interest in hydrotherapy, lymphoedema, neurological rehabilitation and the treatment of vertigo.  Kim is qualified in clinical pilates and acupuncture for musculoskeletal disorders.

Christine Forbes

MPT, PGCert Physio (Pelvic Floor), BEdSt, RM, RN

Chrissie has over 25 years experience in the health profession both in Australia and overseas.  She has a Masters of Physiotherapy and is a qualified midwife enabling her to pursue her special interest in women’s health incorporating ante and post natal care.  She has post graduate qualifications to treat both women and men who suffer from incontinence and pelvic pain.  Chrissie is qualified in clinical pilates and dry needling for musculoskeletal disorders.

Margo Jones 

Margo is an experienced physiotherapist, having graduated in 1989, and completed a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 1997, both from the University of Qld. Margo has worked in Brisbane, Sydney, England, and has been working in private practice on the Gold Coast since 2000. She tailors individual programmes based on thorough assessments, incorporating anatomical explanations, ergonomic advice, hands-on treatment and home exercises. Margo is passionate about staying up-to-date with current research and treatment. She genuinely enjoys meeting and working with new people. Margo can treat all areas of the body but has a special interest in neck and back problems. Margo is also a qualified GLA:D (Good Life with Osteoarthritis: Denmark) instructor – a strengthening programme for arthritic hips and knees.

Outside the practice Margo is hoping to delay the ageing process with her ocean and pool swimming and running! She has three adult children and two naughty golden retrievers!

Andrea Baker 

B.Pty, PGCert Physio (Pelvic Floor)

Andrea graduated in 2005 and completed her postgraduate in Continence and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation in 2008. She has worked in both public and private settings, both inpatient wards and outpatient clinics. She has also had roles as a tutor and lecturer at La Trobe University in Melbourne and Griffith University here on the Gold Coast.

Christopher Sole 

Chris is a new graduate physiotherapist from Griffith University, having a background in exercise science and nutrition. Chris has always been interested in sports and has played numerous sports at club and at school level. He acquired an interest in physiotherapy as he required knee surgery while he was at school and enjoyed the rehabilitation process. When he is not at work he can be found playing soccer, exercising or going to the beach.

Mandy Button

Mandy, who has been practicing for over 30 years, offers her patients a wealth of experience in the physiotherapy field. With the additional benefit of a Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy she can offer expert treatment and advice in the field of sports injuries. She is a skilled physiotherapist who has an extensive range of treatment techniques, built up over the years of treating a variety of physiotherapy conditions including neck and back pain, and headaches. She believes in combining hands on treatment with rehabilitation exercises and advice to allow patients to manage and maintain their recovery. Mandy owned a successful physiotherapy practice in South Africa for over 20 years and since her arrival in Australia she has been a team leader in a busy physiotherapy practice in Adelaide and worked in a Sports physiotherapy practice in Queensland. In her spare time, Mandy enjoys cycling, running, and surfing at the beautiful Queensland beaches.

Emmaline Clark

Emmaline is a new graduate physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people return to doing activities they love. Em enjoys combining her sport and exercise science background and physiotherapy skills to optimise patient progress in line with their goals.

Coming from a rural background Em enjoys horse riding, helping her family on their cattle property and playing netball. Em has a special interest in orthopaedics, Parkinson’s disease and vestibular rehabilitation.

Massage Therapist

Marge Vrain 

Hello, my name is Marge Vrain. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Massage Therapist. I am thrilled to have joined the team at Bell Place Physiotherapy, and I look forward to meeting you soon! As a 19 year old, studying Naturopathy, I developed a love and fascination for Massage Therapy. Therefore, my passion for this therapeutic modality has carried on for many years. Over the last 18 years, I have had experience with a wide range and variety of Massage methods and techniques. I have worked within Massage and Beauty Salons, Aromatherapy Holistic Healthcare practices and gymnasiums. My qualifications include a Certificate in Full Body Massage and I am continuously enthusiastic about personal development and adding to my knowledge by participating in Massage training.

Rhianne Chalk 

Rhianne has a passion for health, human physiology and the importance of exercise conditioning in rehabilitation and life management. She loves treating a wide range of conditions but specifically loves treating musculoskeletal injuries through rehabilitation, postural realignment and pain management. She has previous experience working with DVA patients, EPC’s, NDIS patients, home visits, group fitness classes, Work Cover patients, Pilates classes, cardiorespiratory patients, metabolic disorders, neurological patients and psychological disorders.

Carmel Ceh

BPsych(Hons), MClinPsych

Carmel is a fully endorsed Clinical Psychologist and a Psychology of Australia Board approved supervisor. She holds full membership with the Australian Psychological Society. Carmel has experience with child, adolescent, and adult clients. She is fully trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy; Dialectical Behaviour Therapy; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. She offers Saturday appointments at Bell Place Physiotherapy.
